Every 4 weeks, there is a meeting for members to discuss upcoming events, plan for the future, share announcements, and set policy. Members are encourage to come to this when they can either online or in person. For newer members, it is a great opportunity to meet people you don't usually run into at the workshop. Each meeting will have a moment for announcements & introductions, followed by an agenda. To keep meetings under an hour, we try to get agenda items on the list before the meeting date.

Some examples of what a member might raise as a discussion item at a meeting:

  • Request for funds to buy a new piece of equipment
  • Information on how to run classes or how to volunteer their time
  • A general complaint about an issue at the space they would like to see resolved
