Projects

Interest groups, called Groves, are provided with an area in our workshop to store shared materials, tools, and projects.

Please label works-in-progress with your name and date! Sequoia Fabrica will make a good faith effort to contact project owners, however, unlabelled projects, and those sitting for more than 30 days, may be considered abandoned, and can be repurposed or disposed of.

Cubbies

Each member is allotted one cubby in the back under the mezzanine for storage. If you do not have a cubby, ask a member to help you out. This is the ideal place to put any tools or in-progress projects. If for some reason, something you are working on does not fit in the cubby, you may temporarily store it in the space while you are working on it. As outlined above, you are expected to label this or it risks being removed.

Projects that don't fit in a cubby

It is not polite to block member storage with in-progress projects. Depending on the size of your project, it may take some communication to find the best place to temporarily store it. It's at the discretion of the board and members to ask you to move or remove a project if it is causing problems in our limited size space.
